Is there a website that has all the Life in Hell archives? Because busting out a copy of Work is Hell just to scan a page is a pain.

I don’t know - Life in Hell has been rolling around in my brain for about a week now, really with the intent of posting a few here on occasion. I did a quick search and found a Tumblr archive - the source for this post. But after flipping it, there is really very little on it.
I’ve got a few books in my archive, including Work is Hell and the Big Book of Hell somewhere, plus 1 or 2 more maybe? But they’re buried, and I ain’t scanning them.

I feel like this cartoon is some sublime and timely political commentary.

It always had an anti-establishment theme running through it - sharper edged than the Simpsons.

Just a bit of light anti-establishment snark on a Thursday afternoon is all... :)

Maybe this? I absolutely can NOT vouch for this site - it’s a download, and I haven’t done that because work computer.

Ah yes, the darker side of Matt Groening.

And better. Those who think that the Simpsons is subversive and full of biting satire are missing out.

The Simpsons are fabulous, but they’re still relatively mainstream, and have to bear that in mind.

They were considered a bit edgy 27 years ago, but yeah, it’s still mainstream.

It is political commentary emphasizing the absurdity of manipulation by establishment/authority, rather than humor. And it is (sadly) timeless art.

I can’t believe it’s still running. I remember when it was part of the Tracy Ullman show.

I tried downloading it to my phone but it won’t extract the files. Will try it on a laptop later

I still can’t believe Groening has never even attempted a Life in Hell animated show, movie, or even a motion comic.

Well, it would be a challenge since it has different sets of characters (Akbar & Jeff v Binky, Bongo, etc).
Plus, Bongo was always my favorite, and let’s face it, Bongo is Bart.

Much better put than I could have done!
